EMC-First Design Philosophy
Because EMI problems are far cheaper to fix on paper than on a finished board, every design includes:
- Ground plane strategy — continuous reference planes, deliberate split placement, and controlled return current paths
- Decoupling layout — capacitors placed and routed for effective high-frequency impedance
- Interface filtering — EMI filters at connectors designed in from the start
- Stack-up planning — layer ordering chosen to minimise radiated emissions and crosstalk
